Appearence: In male form he has black hair, blue (sometimes brown or green) eyes and he keeps his hair in a braided ponytail. In female form he has red hair, blue eyes and the same hairstyle. He wears mostly Chinese style clothing because generally it works with either gender. He's fairly lean but muscular because he's an avid martial artist. He's of average height probably around 5'7" or 5'8".
Information:Ranma hails from Japan but his father trained him from when he was very young to be a great martial artist. While training one day in China he fell into "The Spring of Drowned Young Maiden" and now, to his dismay, whenever he's splashed with cold water, he becomes a girl. Only hot water (above room temperature) to change him back.
He's spent much of his life looking for a cure to his.. "problem" and along the journey developed very lacking social skills with girls and a really bad phobia of cats. He loves martial arts and hates to lose. He can be very dedicated and is in no way a delinquent.
He's stubborn with a shy streak. In many cases he chooses to save face rather than speak his true feelings. He's not extremely social or outgoing but he's able to make and keep friends. In the manga he often makes a big scene but I could see him not being quite so strange in Fandom High because a lot more people are strange there. He doesn't crave the spotlight and I can see him adjusting fine.
This Fandom High experience would precede the manga. As such he has never met Akane and is very unaware of his other female suitors from the comic. I feel that he'd be off to Fandom High as another way to cure himself, and to escape his father. Who would have just told him about his arranged marriage. Genma (his dad) has simply tossed him into more trouble than he wants to deal with at this point in his life.
